Project description

Mapping Place: Africa Beyond Paper was an exhibition of African artifacts and maps put on by the The Robert C Williams Museum of Papermaking at Georgia Tech. This catalog is 40 pages and features 21 images of works in the exhibit, including paper maps, photographs, and an object called a Lukasa board, that the Luba people used to represent clan histories, genealogies, and geographic codes.
